His passion for the stories and music of the West shines through every performance. \nThe 66 Kids have captivated audiences at various venues across Arizona and beyond\, blending storytelling\, music\, and history into an unforgettable experience. Their shows celebrate the cultural significance of the American West\, with a special focus on the vibrant role Arizona has played in shaping the nation’s identity. \nThis performance at Sharlot Hall Museum promises a unique and engaging evening of history and song\, celebrating the people\, places\, and stories that have defined Arizona’s heritage. From tales of the open road to the enduring legends of the frontier\, the event is sure to inspire and entertain. \nBefore the performance\, enjoy a light reception on the brick patio in front of the Transportation Building. The performance will take place in the Education Center Auditorium. Seating is limited. Tickets ($25/person) are required and will be available online starting May 26th. No refunds. DESCRIPTION:Authors whose inspiration is the beauty and history of the Superstition Mountains and the history and culture\, wildlife and vegetation of the area surrounding them are a special group of people. This year\, a select few will be gathering at the Museum on Saturday\, March 29\, to meet attendees and sign and sell their books\, all day from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. Admission and parking are free. \nWe are fortunate to have Bob Boze Bell and Marshall Trimble attending this year. They will be presenting their second volume of Arizona stories about growing up on Route 66. “The 66 Kids” is a rowdy romp back to the old days of Route 66 and some of the tales are actually true. Bob Boze Bell and Marshall Trimble will also reward attendees with a talk (details to come).
